    DELIVERY INFORMATION

    van living co. deliver around Australia, however due to quarantine restrictions, we are unable to deliver our products to Tasmania, Western Australia and the Northern Territory.

     

    We offer next day delivery of plants to metropolitan Adelaide. Same day delivery can be arranged as a special request if the order is placed by 12:00pm. Please allow an extra three days for delivery interstate and to regional areas.

     

    Please note that we do not deliver on weekends (unless arranged as a special request). No regional or interstate shipping occurs on Fridays to avoid plants spending an extra two days over the weekend in transit.


    We use both Australia Post and third-party couriers for deliveries. Our courier deliveries are marked with authority to leave. If you have instructions for a safe place to leave your parcel, please let us know and these instructions will be passed on to the courier. For regional and interstate deliveries you may request a date for delivery and we will do our best to meet it, however, we cannot guarantee delivery dates as our couriers are a third party service.

    Please note that cancellations of delivery will not be accepted once your order has been dispatched.

     

    Approximate Delivery Times

    Metro Adelaide – generally next day

    Regional South Australian areas – 1-3 days

    Metro Melbourne and Sydney – 2-3 days

    Metro Brisbane and Canberra – 3-4 days

    Regional Interstate Areas can vary greatly from 3-7 days delivery. Please contact us for approximate duration if you are unsure.

     

    Important: We are unable to guarantee delivery dates. We will always do our best to time shipping to meet your preferred delivery dates, but as couriers are a third-party service and delivery durations are always approximate we cannot be responsible for failing to meet your requested dates.

    Delivery to Hospitals

    Please ensure that the patient receiving the gift is at the hospital at the time of delivery. If the recipient has been discharged and the gift is unable to be delivered, a re-delivery fee will be charged to have the gift re-delivered to an alternative address. Delivery details must include the patient’s name, wing, ward and bed number for delivery.

     

    Regional and remote areas

    Some regional and remote areas are not subject to door to door courier service. In these cases the courier will usually leave the parcel at the central post office or local general store for pick up. As you are sending a living plant it is important that you inform the recipient so that they are able to collect it as soon as possible, as local mail runs may be sporadic. If delivery is made and gifts are not collected in a timely manner we cannot be held responsible for sick or dead plants.

    Local Pick Up

    Local pick up in Glengowrie is free of charge and can be arranged by appointment, generally the next day. When you place your order, simply write a note to seller with your preferred pick up times and we will call or email to confirm.

    RETURN POLICY

    At van living co. our goal is to make sure you are delighted with your order and the service you have received. In most cases, if your order arrives damaged, we will replace or refund.

    Please note that our living gifts are created by hand as they are ordered, so that you receive the freshest products available. Your gift will look very similar to the photos shown on our site but some differences will occur as each plant has its own characteristics and no two gifts are exactly the same.

    If your order arrives damaged, you must email us immediately and return your gift within 7 days of receipt. In your email please include your name and order number (provided on your invoice) as well as a photo of the damage for us to assess. Please do not dispose of your plant or products. We are unable to replace or refund if the original plant is unable to be assessed.

    You must return damaged goods within 7 days of receipt. We will then arrange for a swift replacement or refund. Postage costs for returns are at your expense but will be reimbursed with your refund.

    At times, minor issues of presentation arise in transit. Please email us if you are unhappy with the presentation of your gift upon receipt.
